Almost here!

Easter is almost here. We are ready with little gifts for our children and the painting for the play is done and delivered. Now all we have to do is prepare for the weekend itself.
I want to prepare my heart and the hearts of my children as well.
I envision telling them the story of the Resurrection of Jesus and giving them little canvases to paint on.
Maybe I can dig up some Easter music while I paint with them. On the top of my list will be: "Hallelujah! Christ our Lord is risen today..."
What will you be doing to prepare your hearts and engage your imaginations for this weekend? I would love to know!

Happy Holy Week and Resurrection Sunday! This is the busiest week of the year for me. As a Cantor and Choir member at our church, I am involved in several celebrations of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The best I can do for Him is to use the gift He has blessed me with to bring Him honor and glory, through Praise & Worship, in the churchl; leading others in the process. We have 60 new members of our church that will be received into the faith this Saturday evening. 14 will be baptized by full immersion, a first at this church. Be blessed in the Lord!
